The only dye that prevents red and blue ultra violet rays from penetrating, thus helping to prevent algae and weed growth along with a nice blue color. Once weeds have reached the surface, Aquashade will not be an effective preventative.  Should be replenished in July. Can be poured in by shore. Use 1-2 quarts per acre foot. No restrictions in Michigan.
